Client Service Specialist
How does the role impact the organization?
The Client Service Specialist plays a key role in delivering exceptional client service while representing the Perreira Wealth Advisory brand with professionalism and care. This position primarily supports the Financial Advisor in building the business through strong administrative support, effective communication, and excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate is client-focused, highly organized, and capable of managing a high volume of responsibilities with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.

What will your role be responsible for?
Administrative Support

  • Manage new account openings – including client confirmation, documentation, signature collection, and coordination with back office'
  • Maintain and update client account information, process account changes and revisions as needed;
  • Facilitate asset transfers and ensure timely completion;
  • Communicate with clients daily by telephone and written correspondence to address inquiries and provide support;
  • Liaise with corporate back office to resolve client inquiries and complete requests;
  • Prepare tax documents, business reports, and client correspondence;
  • Facilitate multi-party meeting arrangements between clients, internal staff, and external specialists, ensuring seamless scheduling and prompt correspondence; and
  • Proactively identify potential issues and contribute to effect solutions.

Marketing and Content Management

  • Support social media market efforts by posting timely content and assisting with client-facing initiatives;
  • Scheduling and monitoring content across platforms such as LinkedIn and team website;
  • Track engagement metrics and client feedback from marketing initiatives to help refine outreach strategies;
  • Collaborate with the team to share market updates, educational resources, and firm-approved messaging that enhances client relationships and promotes financial literacy;
  • Coordinate with the Advisor to prepare and distribute client-facing communications, including newsletters, market commentary, and even invitations;
  • Help manage client segmentation lists for targeted marketing efforts and personalized communications; and
  • Ensure all marketing activities meet regulatory and compliance standards, including proper disclosures and recordkeeping.

What do we expect from you?

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with a willingness and ability to learn new applications;
  • Verbal, written and interpersonal communication with both clients and colleagues;
  • Proficient in Quantitative analysis and adept in problem-solving;
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent attention to details;
  • Take initiative to get things done with minimal supervision/direction; and
  • The ability to prioritize, multitask, work within time constraints and follow-up.

Education And Experience

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration; and
  • Experience with Dataphile and Maximizer is an asset.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Investment Representative licensing, including the successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook, is required; or
  • Willingness to complete IR Licensing within 12 months of joining
  • Willingness to complete US (FINRA) licensing exams within 24 months
