Alrpo Aluminum Products Ltd. is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator. As a pivotal member of the team, this position drives the preparation of accurate, competitive bids for projects covering doors, frames, and architectural hardware.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop precise cost estimates and proposals for glazing projects, including doors, frames, and hardware.
  • Review and interpret project documentation such as drawings, specifications, tender documents, and site instructions.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to gather pricing and product information.
  • Conduct detailed quantity take-offs for doors, hardware, and accessories.
  • Prepare competitive quotations and contribute to tender submissions.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Sales teams to deliver accurate and timely proposals.
  • Draft change orders and provide additional pricing as requested by clients.
  • Evaluate bid outcomes and implement improvements to enhance estimating accuracy.
  • Maintain and update pricing databases, Excel templates, and historical cost records.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Estimator in glazing (doors, hardware, frame systems) or a related field.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and related documents.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various door systems and hardware sets.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail, accountability, and strong communication skills.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal, for technical documentation and business correspondence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and templates.
  • Experience with Revit or comparable take-off software.
  • Technical education in construction technology, engineering, or architecture.
