Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Assistant to support our construction team in various project tasks. Responsibilities

  • Assist with site preparation, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
  • Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
  • Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times
  • Help with loading and unloading supplies and tools as needed
  • Assist in the installation of structures, fixtures, or other components under supervision
  • Perform basic carpentry, demolition, or landscaping tasks as required
  • Report any safety hazards or concerns to supervisors promptly

Skills

  • Basic understanding of construction processes and tools preferred but not required; training will be provided
  • Ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety procedures
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Good communication skills and reliability
  • Prior experience in construction or related fields is a plus but not necessary; eagerness to learn is essential
  • Valid driver's license is advantageous for transportation between sites

Pay: $17.00-$28.73 per hour
