Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Technician to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture, landscaping, and construction, with the ability to operate various tools and equipment. This role offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, providing essential landscape maintenance services to our clients.

Duties

  • Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting
  • Operate heavy machinery such as excavators for site preparation and landscaping projects
  • Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for planting, edging, and other landscaping tasks
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance
  • Assist with construction projects related to landscape design and installation
  • Manage gardening tasks such as soil preparation, fertilization, and pest control
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations and maintenance activities

Requirements

  • Prior experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge related to operating machinery like excavators and irrigation systems
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques
  • Strong understanding of horticulture principles and plant care
  • Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license is a plus for equipment transportation responsibilities
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.55-$29.20 per hour
