Insight Global is supporting a leading Canadian bank in hiring a Business Systems Analyst to join their Digital Technology Team focused on wealth and asset management. This team drives digital transformation through agile delivery of proprietary digital technology solutions that enhance automation, reduce manual processes, and improve client engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert for internal/external stakeholders across investment products and digital initiatives.

  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements using various elicitation techniques.

  • Write clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.

  • Partner with agile squads throughout the software development lifecycle, including system testing, UAT, and validation of new features.

  • Align technology solutions with business goals, KPIs, and strategic objectives.

  • Conduct feasibility studies, business cases, cost/benefit analyses, and current state assessments.

  • Support secure site design and multi-factor authentication (MFA) initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or IT Consultant within financial services specifically capital markets, wealth management, asset management or investment operations.

  • Experience being part of full cycle digital onboarding transformation for advisor onboarding platforms within Wealth Management domain.

  • Strong understanding of investment products (Mutual Funds, ETFs, CDRs, etc.).

  • Experience working with proprietary digital technology environments and experience with secure site design/multi-factor authentication.

  • Experience with business strategy and assessments (i.e., feasibility studies, business cases and/or cost/benefit, project sizing and costing, and current state analysis/needs assessments).

  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, JIRA, Confluence), and the ability to write clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria and process flows.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience integrating IFDS.
