Teaching Assistant - NRSC 515

Position Summary:
Assisting students with formulating their term papers, and assisting the instructor with grading three quizzes, and the term papers.
Qualifications:
BSc in the biomedical and/or environmental sciences, with some experience in the areas of water, environmental hazards, and public health.
Please note that Teaching Assistants will be required on campus to perform their tasks in person. Should anything prohibit in-person teaching activities, courses will revert to remote teaching. In the event of such a change, Teaching Assistants will be advised as soon as possible. Teaching Assistants may be required to perform tasks suited to a remote/online teaching environment using a virtual learning platform [e.g., Zoom, WebEx] and the McGill myCourses learning management system.
McGill University is an English-language university where most teaching and research activities are conducted in the English language, thereby requiring English communication both verbally and in writing.
