Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting quality control processes, conducting precise data collection, and performing analysis to ensure the integrity of our products and research. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic laboratory environment, utilizing your technical skills and attention to detail to contribute to ongoing projects and quality assurance initiatives.

Duties

  • Conduct laboratory tests and experiments following established protocols
  • Collect, record, and analyze data accurately for quality control and research purposes
  • Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions as needed for various tests
  • Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, results, and observations
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues related to testing procedures or equipment failures
  • Support compliance with safety regulations and proper laboratory practices
  • Collaborate with team members to improve testing methods and data accuracy

Requirements

  • Previous laboratory experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately
  • Proficiency in math and statistical methods relevant to laboratory work
  • Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain precise documentation
  • Good communication skills for reporting findings clearly and effectively
  • Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and proper handling of chemicals and equipment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.75-$32.05 per hour

Work Location: In person
