Senior Business Project Manager - Internal Audit & Regulatory Compliance

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Senior Business Project Manager - Internal Audit & Regulatory Compliance for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client's Toronto office.

Senior Business Project Manager - Internal Audit & Regulatory Compliance - Job Description:

In this role, you will work on a number of projects within the Global Project Management Office (PMO), managing the planning, organization, and implementation of projects to ensure project goals or objectives are accomplished within approved timeframes, scope, and budget. The team provides valuable advice with a coordinated view across the business, connecting dots and building best practices.

Senior Business Project Manager - Internal Audit & Regulatory Compliance - Responsibilities:


• Plan and execute projects with high levels of complexity and uncertainty


• Oversee project operating procedures and monitor the productivity and performance of the project team


• Manage project scope by assessing requirements changes and determining impact on timelines, budget, and resourcing


• Develop, manage, and ensure adherence to project schedules and completion of project goals


• Raise and track risks, issues, and conflicts, and remove barriers


• Manage project communications, including status reports to executives, stakeholders, business partners, vendors, and the project team

Senior Business Project Manager - Internal Audit & Regulatory Compliance - Mandatory Skills:


• PMP certification or equivalent


• 5+ years of progressive project management experience in a business project-related environment


• Experience with Iterative Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies


• Advanced project management knowledge, including project plan development and scheduling capabilities


• Proficient in MS Suites, including Excel and MS Project


• Intermediate or higher proficiency in Jira and Confluence

Senior Business Project Manager - Internal Audit & Regulatory Compliance – Nice-to-Have Skills:


• Agile Certification (e.g., Scrum Master)


• Internal Audit and Regulatory Compliance experience


• Strong problem-solving skills


• Excellent communication skills


• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

This is a 12-month contract position.
