A career as a Senior Solutions Architect Gen AI within the Data Ecosystem, Artificial Intelligence, Client Domain, Marketing, Pricing & Billing, and ECM Solutions Architecture team at National Bank means contributing to AI Solution Architecture that will challenge and elevate you, while working closely with various sectors of the Bank. This role allows you to have a positive impact on our organization through your expertise in solution integration, enterprise-wide solution delivery, or regulatory domains.

Your job

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in solution architecture, domain architecture, infrastructure and telecom architecture, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, business lines, development, and analysis, and lead technological decision-making.
• Interact with various stakeholders to understand business needs.
• Support domain architects in evaluating new AI-related services.
• Design modular architecture and technological solutions that meet stakeholders' business needs.
• Participate in the implementation and integration of end-to-end and operationalized solutions in coordination with multiple delivery teams, by guiding development teams to translate architectures into functional code.
• Promote the adoption of architectural and cybersecurity principles in the design and implementation of solutions.
• Diagnose problematic situations and intervene in resolving complex issues.

Within the Technology & Operations sector, you will be part of a growing team of 26 colleagues and report to Eric Turgeon, Senior Director of Solutions Architecture. Our team stands out for its expertise in solution and data architecture, including artificial intelligence.

Prerequisite

• Completed bachelor's degree in a field related to the area of activity (e.g., software engineering), and seven to ten years of relevant experience as an architect in the delivery of large-scale artificial intelligence projects.
• Recognized as a technical reference for several of the following technologies/tools: Agentic AI & Automation; LLMs (Large Language Models) such as GPT-5, Claude Sonnet, Gemini, etc.; AWS AI services: Textract, Comprehend, Sagemaker, Bedrock; AWS general services: Step Functions, SQS, SNS, Lambda, S3, EC2, Route53, EventBridge Scheduler, etc.; Classical AI: Deep Learning, Random Forest, Snowflake Cortex; Data: Kafka, APIs, SQL, Modeling, MongoDB.
• Mastery of concepts, technologies, and solutions within a modern ecosystem: Domain-driven architecture, microservices, APIs, streaming, cloud technologies, real-time data flows, orchestration, access security, cloud, DevOps, etc.
• Strong analytical skills and hands-on coding experience: Java, Python, JavaScript.
• Understanding and experience with SDLC methodologies (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile, and DevSecOps.
• Leadership, initiative, autonomy, and communication skills, particularly in challenging, influencing, and positively engaging stakeholders.
