Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Laborer to join our construction and restoration team. This role involves supporting various projects, including residential and commercial painting, carpentry, and industrial painting. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in construction, blueprint reading, or using hand and power tools is highly desirable. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in a dynamic industry while contributing to high-quality project completion.

Duties

  • Assist with construction, restoration, and renovation projects on-site
  • Prepare surfaces for painting, caulking, or other finishing tasks
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and schematics for project specifications
  • Perform residential and commercial painting tasks, including surface preparation and application
  • Support rigging and scaffolding setup as needed for project access
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure safety protocols are followed
  • Assist with carpentry tasks such as measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
  • Use caulking techniques to seal gaps and joints for proper finishing
  • Support industrial painting projects by preparing surfaces and applying coatings

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in construction, restoration, or related fields preferred
  • Knowledge of construction painting (residential, commercial, industrial) is a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, rigging, carpentry, and caulking techniques
  • Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients
  • Ability to work safely around industrial equipment and adhere to safety standards
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Reliable transportation or valid driver's license is preferred for job site access

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.47-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
