Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and other food items while providing excellent customer service. This role requires attention to food safety and sanitation standards, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Sandwich Maker will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and quality food preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of sandwiches and food items according to company recipes and standards
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
  • Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy hours
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and food prep areas in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Assist customers with menu selections, upselling additional items when appropriate
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and provide excellent customer service
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operations
  • Follow all food handling and safety procedures to ensure high-quality food products

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environment preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems, including Micros POS, is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
  • Ability to handle cash handling and basic math calculations accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour
