GOOD TO KNOW
- Monday to Friday, opportunity to work overtime
- 8-10 hour days
- 3 month contract
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Perform general construction duties including site prep, cleanup, loading/unloading materials, and assisting trades.
- Accurately measure, cut, and assemble materials using tape measure and other hand/ power tools.
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively with a team.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Experience as a General Construction Labourer working on a construction site.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure.
- Experience with power tools.
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisor(s) to perform manual labour tasks.
- Strong work ethic with demonstrated dedication.
- Ability to interface and communicate well with others. Understand and follow oral and written directions.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Must have own transportation as location is not accessible with public transportation.
- Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract required.
- Must have CSA approved safety boots.
