The successful candidate will work closely with a local team of 12 geotechnical engineers and EITs based out of Winnipeg, supported by a wider, regional team of over 200 geotechnical engineering staff.

  • Hands-On Experience: Conduct a variety of field work including geotechnical site investigations and construction field reviews. Visit project sites, see the work progress firsthand, and monitor the impact of your contributions. See your hard work come to life  
  • Win Work: Collaborate with other Stantec teams and contractors to develop cost estimates and prepare proposals for geotechnical pursuits.

Qualifications

Qualifications to apply:​ 

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering from a recognized university with direct exposure to Geotechnical course work.
  • 0–4 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or related services. (Recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Eligible to register (or already registered) as an Engineer-in-Training with EGM. 
  • Valid Canadian driver's license with access to a vehicle. 
  • Ability to live and work in Canada. 
  • Residing in Winnipeg.
