Responsibilities

  • Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including relaxation, therapeutic, and sports massage techniques
  • Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized therapy plans
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized treatment area following health and safety standards
  • Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices
  • Keep detailed records of client treatments and progress in accordance with licensing requirements
  • Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and relaxing environment for clients
  • Stay informed about new massage techniques, industry standards, and continuing education opportunities

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Massage Therapist or similar role in a clinical or spa setting preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology related to health conditions and treatments is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a positive client experience
  • Certification or licensing as required by state regulations for massage therapy practice
