Connor, Clark & Lunn Private Capital is currently looking for an Intern, Communications to join our communications team for a four-month term (May - August Join our dynamic, fast-paced work environment where opportunities for learning and growth abound. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting a broad range of initiatives, including internal and external communications, sales materials and tools, events and meetings, administration and document keeping, and social media and competitor research. You will have the chance to collaborate with people on various teams, from wealth and asset management to operations and compliance. You will learn first-hand the impact communications has across the firm, and experience what it's like to be part of a collaborative environment, while gaining experience at one of Canada's largest independent and privately held discretionary investment managers.

What You Will Do

• Support communication creation and distribution, both internally and externally, across various channels
• Maintain and update sales materials, including presentations, reports and forms
• Support the updating and posting of materials on SharePoint libraries
• Support website maintenance and social media activity
• Support competitor and market intelligence initiatives

What You Bring

The Intern, Communications position is geared towards students either in their third/fourth year of an undergraduate degree or MBA with a focus on Communications, Business or Media. We are seeking ambitious students with a strong academic track record, who are interested in making an impact at CC&L Private Capital.

In addition to the above, the successful candidate will have:

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives and tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with SharePoint

The salary range for this position is 42,800 - $50,700 CAD annualized. The salary range provided reflects the base salary range for this position as required by legislation. Further questions may be directed to the HR team during the interview process.
