Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate pet lover to join our team as a Dog Walker/Dog Sitter. Applicant should have experience with dogs (XL breeds included) and cats at a minimum - bonus points if you're experienced with other animals.

This is an in person position. Hours are not guaranteed; however, hours will usually be about 5 hours per week to start.

Experience

  • Prior experience with dogs and cats.
  • Experience with XL breeds/reactive/aggressive animals required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect empathetically with clients
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretion
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and clients
  • A genuine desire to help others and improve their quality of life
  • The ability to always be punctual.

Preference will be given to applicants with dog training experience. As this position involves a lot of walking, please be sure that you are able to be on your feet for long periods.

Canadian G driver's license and own vehicle required.

Must be willing to obtain pet care insurance through PROfur or another legitimate provider. Background check required.
