Financial Analyst

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team and help drive data-informed decisions that support our strategy and improve efficiency and profitability across the business.

Role Overview:

As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the execution of our well-defined growth strategy for the business. This will include supporting strategic financial planning, analyzing operating costs, identifying optimization opportunities, and implementing system solutions for the business. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process solutions that enhance operational performance and cost-effectiveness.

In this capacity, you will be interfacing regularly with the Executive Team, providing a tremendous professional growth opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Compile and analyze data including revenue, labour, inventory, overhead and spending
  • Identify cost-saving and optimization opportunities through data-driven analysis of production and supply chain processes
  • Build financial models plus assist with forecasting, budgeting and financial planning processes
  • Monitor KPIs, prepare reports and presentations for management and leadership
  • Participate in M&A initiatives by conducting research, managing Virtual Data Rooms (VDR's)and tracking synergies
  • Provide analysis and support to Senior Management plus manage ad hoc projects/tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 3-5 years' work experience with financial analysis in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of financial models
  • Familiarity and experience with ERP systems beneficial
  • Advanced Excel skills required; Power BI experience beneficial
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to work independently and be a self-starter
