Paystone is a leading payments company focused on delivering innovative and scalable solutions to merchants across North America. Given our concentrated focus on hyper-growth, we are looking for a Territory Manager – Payments who is laser focused on driving partner sales results and operational execution across an assigned geographic territory in Canada.
In this role, you will work closely with our 3rd Party Independent Sales Organizations/Agents (ISOs/ISAs), to drive merchant acquisition, processing volumes and deliver a best-in-class partner experience.
You will also be responsible for recruiting and onboarding new ISOs and drive the revenue growth of our payments and other lines of business. In addition, you will provide operational, deal support and coaching to existing and new partners.
Your Focus
Partner Sales Growth and Territory Management
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for merchant acquisition, transaction volume, and revenue through existing ISOs/ISAs.
- Assist ISOs/ISAs with deal execution, pricing strategy and structure and building a winning strategy in the market.
- Monitor local market trends and competitive landscape to develop effective sales strategies in collaboration with other functional areas (marketing, sales ops, finance).
Recruit New ISOs/ISAs
- Recruit, onboard, manage and coach new ISOs/ISAs to drive merchant acquisition
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all business needs, escalations, and strategic account activities.
- Build strong and consultative relationships and be a true partner in solving merchant business challenges.
- Conduct regular business reviews with ISOs/ISAs to evaluate performance and pipeline.
- 5+ years of experience in ISO/ISA management, sales, or business development in the payments industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian payments ecosystem and ISO/ISA landscape with existing strong relationships in the market.
- Proven ability to manage revenue quotas and partner performance.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Dynamic thinker, ability to handle pressure and creative problem solver with a "Can-do" attitude.
- Experience with CRM and Collaboration tools like Salesforce, Slack, G-suite and other productivity based SAAS tools.
