If you have a strong mechanical background, a knack for problem -solving, and a commitment to safety, this role is perfect for you Why You'll Love This Job: Work -Life Balance: Enjoy a unique schedule with 7 days on, 7 days off – you'll work only two weeks a monthEssential Role: Be a key player in ensuring our mobile equipment's reliability and efficiency.Diverse Responsibilities: Engage in routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of underground mining machinery.Problem -Solving: Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues to keep our operations running smoothly.Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled tasks to extend the life of our equipment.Hands -On Work: Operate machinery, and take on various mechanical challenges.Team Collaboration: Work independently while maintaining high safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Conduct routine inspections, lubrication, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on all underground mining machinery.Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective repair solutions to prevent equipment failures.Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to prolong the equipment's operational life.Execute systematic checks, lubrication, and part replacements as necessary.Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.Operate machinery such as overhead cranes, forklifts, and boom trucks.Carry out additional tasks as assigned. RequirementsWhat We're Looking For Over 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic.Strong mechanical skills and the ability to solve problems efficiently.Essential knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems of heavy machinery.Ability to read and comprehend equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP is preferred.Must be capable of working independently while maintaining high safety standards.
