Description
Principal Consultant — Advisory
RAVL helps technologists accelerate their careers.

At RAVL, we connect strategy with execution, care deeply about the people we work with, and measure success by the lasting impact we leave behind. Our purpose is to build a team that puts real, sustainable business outcomes at the core of everything we do.

We're here to leave our clients better than we found them, and to create a place where our people are proud to Build. Better.

THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Principal Consultant at RAVL Advisory, you will lead complex technology advisory engagements and act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders. You'll focus on solving challenging technology problems across strategy, transformation, and architecture, while ensuring that our work delivers measurable, lasting impact.

This role is ideal for an experienced consultant who thrives in ambiguous environments, enjoys leading teams and client relationships, and finds purpose in helping organizations materially improve their technology capabilities.

What Success Looks Like In This Role

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships grounded in trust, impact, and value delivered.
  • Evaluate client needs, identify opportunities, and shape compelling proposals that leverage RAVL's expertise.
  • Lead teams of consultants and technical experts to deliver committed outcomes across engagements.
  • Act as the primary day-to-day advisor for clients throughout the full engagement lifecycle.
  • Ensure delivery teams continuously adapt to evolving client needs and priorities.
  • Own and manage the financial performance of client engagements.
  • Coach and develop consultants, strengthening their consulting toolkit and career progression.

SOUNDS GREAT, BUT DO MY SKILLS FIT?

  • 5–10 years of experience in technology strategy, delivery, and/or management consulting.
  • Strong understanding of established and emerging technologies and their business applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to advise clients closely on a day-to-day basis.
  • Excellent problem-framing skills and the ability to synthesize complex, disparate information.
  • Experience leading consulting teams and multi-disciplinary delivery groups.

MINDSET TRAITS

  • Passion for technology and curiosity about how it enables business outcomes.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and taking ownership for results.
  • Relentlessly focused on continuous improvement and quality of advice.
  • Client-centric, pragmatic, and impact-driven.
  • Strong coaching mindset with a desire to develop others.

Why Join RAVL?

  • Flexible, client-aligned work model — autonomy with accountability, adapting to client delivery needs.
  • Variable bonus & RRSP contributions tied to performance and delivery impact.
  • 4 weeks paid time off (plus public holidays).
  • Paid professional development days and continuous learning opportunities.
  • Comprehensive health & dental coverage, including mental health support.
  • Commitment to lifelong learning — continuous improvement through training, mentorship, and certification.

Compensation & Hiring Process
We are recruiting for a future opportunity. Total compensation may also include additional pay such as bonuses or incentives, depending on the position. Final offers are based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

As part of our hiring process, we may use technology — including AI-based tools — to help summarize and assess applications. These tools support our team and do not replace human review or decision-making.

EQUAL OPPORTUNITY & ACCESSIBILITY
RAVL is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and accessible workplace. We welcome applications from all qualified individuals and provide accommodations throughout the hiring process upon request.
