Position: As a skilled vascular sonographer, you will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to create images of patient's central and peripheral circulation. You will play a crucial role in providing accurate and detailed diagnostic information to aid physicians in diagnosing and treating various vascular conditions. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, advanced technical and clinical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform high quality vascular ultrasound examinations including venous and arterial examinations in accordance with established protocols and physicians' orders.
- Evaluate the images for technical quality, ensuring they are of diagnostic value and accurately recorded.
- Record and analyze sonographic findings during the examination.
- Provide preliminary findings to physicians.
- Continuously maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide excellent patient care and support during the imaging procedure.
- Maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is properly calibrated and operated in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements:
- Registered Vascular Technologist/Sonographer with CMRITO, RDMS or RVT preferred or Canadian equivalent.
- Graduation from a recognized diagnostic vascular technologist accredited program.
- Current registration with ARDMS and/or Sonography Canada.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
- Able to demonstrate effective time management and problem-solving skills.
- Satisfactory performance and attendance required.
- Able to work independently or in a team environment.
