Position Summary:
Qualified cabinet installer to assist installation department. Help manager with installation schedule organization and staging of jobs. Help installers with delivery, installation, service and warranty work.
Responsibilities:
- Assist install manager with delivery logistics and installation schedule.
- Coordinate delivery logistics, empty carts and excess packaging and materials.
- Coordinate supply only, work orders for delivery and pick up.
- Coordinate and stage repairs prior to site visit. 1 or 2 days before.
- Ensure all parts are accounted for and accurate in size, color, etc.
- Precut toe kicks for installation.
- Assemble small jobs in shop that can reduce site time.
- Assemble custom jobs for accuracy for delivery and installation.
- Prebuild countertops as needed.
- Assist installers with deficiencies, missing parts, damaged parts, forgotten parts, emergency parts, etc. Track down, build and deliver to site.
- Review all client plans prior to starting work and understanding scope of work.
- Identify potential issues and provide practical solutions to move jobs forward.
- Solve problems independently and collaboratively as a team.
- Ability to bend, lift, twist, and carry 75 pounds.
- Communicate delays to installation manager or scheduler.
- Clean up work area after job completion in shop and on site.
- Wear appropriate work and safety clothing daily
- Protect and maintain all Tools and equipment.
- Keep Adora shop and truck bays always clean.
Expectations:
- Always maintain professionalism.
- Respect company and client property.
- Adhere to Adora / Client and OH&S safety guidelines.
- Completed work in a timely manner while adhering to plans.
- Ensure all product and installations meet Adora standards, level, plumb, square, tight miter's, properly sanded, etc. and all products are functioning properly prior to leaving shop or jobsite.
- Complete all QIR's / Hazard assessment forms / repair information for each job and submit to the office upon completion of each job.
- Attend all safety meetings / tailgate as required.
- Operate and maintain Adora vehicles in compliance with Adora policies and Alberta vehicle safety standards.
- Support training and onboarding of new employees as directed by Installation Manager.
- Manage time effectively, including breaks, travel and on-site projects.
- Required to work overtime as requested and approved by Installation Manager.
- Follow all tasks and directions issued by the Installation Manager.
Qualifications for Pre Installation:
- 3 years cabinet installation experience or related trade
- Outgoing and positive attitude of enthusiasm
- High level of integrity and ability to react appropriately under pressure
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions.
- Strong prioritization and multitasking abilities.
Wage is dependent on experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
