About This Role
Position Overview
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and play a key role in building and supporting data pipelines that power our analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience—or a strong interest—in data engineering and analytics, with a focus on transforming raw data into structured, modelled datasets for business insights.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain ETL processes using Microsoft SSIS and/or Microsoft Fabric Data Pipelines
Design and optimize workflows to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability for business analysts and reporting teams.
Collaborate with analysts to deliver modelled data for dashboards and reports.
Troubleshoot and support existing data pipelines and integrations
Required Skills/Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (preferably with a focus on Data Science and Analytics) or equivalent experience.
Strong experience with SQL, including writing and optimizing complex queries.
Understanding of ETL concepts and data pipeline design.
Ability to work collaboratively with analytics and business teams.
Completed Data Science coursework or certification
Preferred Skills
Hands-on experience with Microsoft SSIS, Microsoft Fabric, or similar ETL tools.
Familiarity with IBM Cognos, Power BI, or other BI/reporting tools.
Proficiency in Python and familiarity with common Data Science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn)
Knowledge of data modelling and data warehouse concepts.
Interest in data analytics and visualization.

$65,400 CAD - $98,200 CAD
