The management and distribution of our medications is critical in ensuring we are able to consistently deliver high-quality, safe patient care. As we continue to grow our pharmacy operations, we are seeking Registered Pharmacy Technicians to join our team.
- Completion of a college level Pharmacy Technician Program required (accredited college level Pharmacy Technician Program preferred)
- Registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists as a Pharmacy Technician (RPhT)
- Minimum 2 years prior retail pharmacy experience
- Hospital pharmacy experience an asset
- Proficiency in the Kroll Computer System
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, detail oriented, communication, teamwork, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills
- Proven ability to follow specific instructions with a high degree of accuracy
- Demonstrated initiative and judgment appropriate for the role.
- Self-directed in seeking out pharmacy issues within the healthcare team
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development
- Proven ability to perform the physical requirements of the position which may include standing for extended periods of time, moderate lifting and pushing carts
