Commence Fence is a fast-growing, premium fencing company built on systems, efficiency, and execution. We are looking for a top-performing Outside Sales Representative who thrives in face-to-face selling, understands decision-making psychology, and knows how to close.

The Opportunity

You will be meeting homeowners on their property to present solutions, overcome objections, and close fencing projects.

  • Average ticket price: $6,600
  • Average monthly rep revenue: $90,000
  • Commission: 8% on total sales
  • Earnings potential: ~$7,200/month at average performance, with upside for top closers

This is a performance-based role with real income opportunity for professionals who execute.

What You Are Responsible For1. In-Home Sales & Closing

  • Attend scheduled site visits prepared and on time
  • Build rapport and establish trust quickly
  • Diagnose customer needs and present solutions
  • Handle objections professionally and confidently
  • Close deals at the table whenever appropriate

2. CRM & Documentation Discipline

  • Use the CRM consistently and accurately
  • Take detailed notes on each project
  • Capture photo documentation (site conditions, access points, grading, etc.)
  • Ensure clean handoff to operations for flawless installation execution

Attention to detail is non-negotiable.

3. Numbers & Math Accuracy

  • Measure and confirm fence layouts
  • Understand pricing logic and margins
  • Ensure quotes are accurate and complete
  • Catch errors before they become costly problems

Schedule & Commitment

  • Minimum 6 hours per day, Monday–Friday
  • Flexibility for evenings and occasional weekends to meet homeowner availability
  • Weekly in-person sales meeting every Wednesday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

This is a professional sales role—not a side hustle.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience closing in-home or face-to-face sales
  • Strong objection-handling and decision-driving skills
  • Comfort discussing price, value, and timelines
  • CRM experience (Zoho preferred, others acceptable)
  • High attention to detail and follow-through
  • Reliable personal vehicle
  • Personal cellphone and computer
  • Strong math skills and numerical confidence

Nice-to-Have (Not Required)

  • Experience in fencing, construction, or home services
  • Knowledge of materials, installation methods, or site conditions
