Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. We are looking for a class 5 driver for a rollback truck. Must be mechanically inclined and experience with equipment, for loading and unloading. Partime full time on call.

Duties

  • Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport freight to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving.
  • Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
  • Operate forklifts or other heavy equipment when required for loading and unloading.

Qualifications

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus for maintaining vehicle performance.
  • Experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift heavy loads safely and efficiently.
