Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a tractor-trailers to transport freight and goods across designated routes.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, mileage logs, and vehicle maintenance records.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times.
  • Assist in yard operations as needed,

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial driving with familiarity in route driving, shuttle driving, or heavy haul operations.
  • Mechanical aptitude for basic troubleshooting and vehicle maintenance checks.
  • Strong communication skills for clear interaction with team members and clients.
  • Ability to load & unload freight safely using pallet jacks or forklifts; warehouse experience is advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type operated; CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred but not mandatory depending on the role. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.69-$35.97 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 60 per week
