Job Summary:

Phoenix Restorations is seeking skilled and detail-oriented individuals with experience in drywall installation, texturing, painting, and finish carpentry. This multi-skilled role is responsible for preparing interior surfaces, applying finishes, and installing woodwork to ensure high-quality, professional results in residential and commercial restoration projects..

Key Responsibilities:Drywalling:

  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to fit wall and ceiling spaces.
  • Secure drywall panels using nails, screws, or adhesives.
  • Tape, mud, and sand seams, joints, and corners to create smooth, even surfaces.
  • Repair damaged drywall or plaster as needed.

Texture Application:

  • Apply various ceiling textures
  • Use hand tools or spray equipment to create consistent and uniform finishes.
  • Ensure texture matches existing patterns where necessary during repairs.

Painting:

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming as required.
  • Apply paint, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray guns.
  • Match colors and finishes to specifications and touch up any imperfections.
  • Maintain clean work areas and equipment.

Finishing Carpentry:

  • Install trim, baseboards, crown molding, wainscoting, and doors.
  • Measure and cut wood or other materials with precision.
  • Repair or replace damaged woodwork and ensure secure fittings.
  • Ensure all installations meet aesthetic and structural standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in drywall installation, finishing, painting, and finish carpentry.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to craftsmanship.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and finishing equipment.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in varying environments.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Wallpaper application is an asset

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and PPE use.
