The partnership will create an exclusive new menu of personalized treatments focusing on beauty and wellbeing while using signature products for facials, massages and body treatments.

The Guerlain Spa will offer ten treatment rooms with gorgeous pre-and-post stay relaxation areas with spectacular views overlooking Lake Ontario - providing guests with a luxurious and relaxing retreat.

Job Summary

The Spa Attendant is responsible to inspect, stock, and maintain the Spa in a clean and orderly manner and promote a relaxing and enjoyable environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

· Be an Ambassador for the GUERLAIN brand, its history, values and know-how, demonstrating a high level of professionalism.

· Embody the brand's history and values and share your enthusiasm with customers.

· Complete all Spa duties and maintain the cleanliness of the locker rooms, common areas, and all areas related to the Spa throughout shift.

· Greet and treat Guests in a professional and friendly manner. Follow established rules of engagement, e.g., treat each client as if they are the only person in the room giving them full attention, address each person by name, etc.)

· At the beginning of each shift, check all supplies to ensure adequate stock; replenish from the stock room as necessary.

· Check steam room, and/or treatment rooms for proper temperature and cleanliness. Adjust or clean as necessary.

· Responsible for the care and maintenance of your equipment during each shift. Any defaults must be reported to Spa Management.

· Practice the recycle of linen and toweling, as per set hotel procedures.

· Cleans and makes up all treatment rooms according to the standards required by GUERLAIN and Hotel X Toronto

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year cleaning experience in a Spa or related industry.

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of guests, employees and management.

Good organizational and problem-solving skills.

Good oral and written communication skills.

Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.

Flexible shift availability including evenings, weekends and holidays. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
