Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalized care and support to clients in their own homes. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about helping others, especially seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness. The caregiver will assist with daily living activities, ensure safety, and promote independence while fostering a warm and respectful environment. Experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or hospice care is highly valued. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives through attentive and professional caregiving.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Provide medication administration as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding if necessary
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer activities, including heavy lifting when required
  • Monitor health status and report changes or concerns to family members or healthcare providers
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
  • Follow care plans accurately and document care provided in compliance with regulations
  • Ensure safety protocols are adhered to at all times, especially when working with individuals with dementia or disabilities

Experience

  • Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice care, or home care environments is preferred
  • Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring dementia or hospice care is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing skills is advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and transferring clients safely
  • Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills and patience for working with diverse populations of all ages needing caregiving support
