Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and have experience in various settings . This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages, with a focus on providing high-quality care and support.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and swallowing abilities of patients.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills and swallowing functions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.
  • Provide case management services to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families about speech-language disorders and treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with medical standards.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to speech-language pathology.
  • Familiarity with case management processes to effectively coordinate patient care.
  • Background in pediatrics is preferred for working with younger populations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
