Skills

  • Deep understanding of Java 8, Java 11, and or Java 17 and peripheral tools
  • Strong application of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, design patterns, testing, and debugging
  • Ability to deliver the best patterns and practices to solutions in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid understanding of consuming, producing, and designing RESTful web services and message brokers
  • Exceptional knowledge of Java 8, lambdas, and streaming functionality
  • Experience implementing engineering best practices such as Test-driven design (TDD), Domain-driven design (DDD), building monitoring metrics, and code reviews
  • Understanding of continuous delivery, deployment, and integration
  • Previous exposure to data persistence in relational, MySQL, unstructured, and/or cached forms
  • Work with the product providing technical knowledge and expertis,e helping to design the future of our products

Experience

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, design patterns, testing, and debugging
  • Solid understanding of consuming, producing, and designing RESTful web services
  • Exceptional knowledge of Java, especially Java 8 lambdas and streaming functionality
  • Passion for engineering practices such as TDD, pair programming, and code reviews
  • Good understanding of continuous delivery, deployment, and integration
  • Work with data persistence in relational, MySQL, unstructured, and/or cached forms
  • Knowledge about software architecture and its patterns
  • Design and model applications with tools such as DDD
  • Experience working on cloud infrastructure environments, such as AWS
  • Familiarity with basic AWS services such as ECS, CloudWatch, and S3 Bucket
  • Experience with frameworks such as Quarkus
  • Expert in building a monitor graph/dashboard with tools like Datadog
  • Experience with building applications with GitHub Copilot
