Luminous dental is a family owned, non-corporate clinic. and we have been serving the community for over 40 years as Dr. Gavin Chu Inc. We have recently re-branded and are expanding our team and hours of operation to serve our patients better. We have loyal long term patients and staff and a supportive environment for learning.

We are currently looking for a CDA who is also willing to work part time at the front. This job is ideal for a CDA who is looking to learn more about the admin side. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years experience as a CDA at a busy dental clinic and is familiar with Tracker. Our clinic is open Monday- Friday + one Saturday a month. This is a full time position hours/week). On week's when we are open Saturday you would be given another day off during the week. We don't work Saturday's in the summer.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentist with treatment, child recall's or other treatment as a Certified Dental Assistant

  • Take radiographs

  • Help with sterilization

  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients

  • Manage patient records and update electronic medical records

  • Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing and payment processing

Skills:

  • Experience working in a medical or dental office setting

  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems

  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work well in a team environment

  • Proficiency in using Tracker
