Job Description

KRFT is seeking Post-Production Technicians (Cannabis Bud Trimmers) to perform post-harvest processing activities at its licensed cannabis production facility in George's Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador. The successful candidate will perform repetitive, manual production tasks in accordance with established procedures, quality standards, and federal regulatory requirements.

Main Duties

  • Hand-trim, manicure, and prepare cannabis flower for further processing and packaging
  • Perform repetitive post-harvest production tasks including bucking, sorting, and grading
  • Maintain consistent production output while meeting quality standards
  • Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Health Canada regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment
  • Safely handle cannabis materials in a secure and regulated environment
  • Work as part of a production team under the direction of a supervisor

Requirements

  • No formal education required
  • Previous experience in cannabis trimming, agriculture, food processing, manufacturing, or similar production work is an asset but not required
  • Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks for extended periods
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
  • Attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to follow instructions and production targets
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
