The Project Manager and Project Controller will assume a dual role:

  • Project Manager (50%) – Responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing project execution to ensure successful delivery.
  • Project Controller (50%) – Monitoring financial and operational performance, conducting risk analysis, ensuring compliance with budgets and timelines. We are seeking a versatile and results-driven leader with proven skills in project management. Responsibilities Project Management
  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring objectives, schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including proposals, work plans, and progress reports.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise work execution with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, permits, and health & safety requirements.
  • Oversee on-site activities, monitor quality, and manage the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials. Project Control & Reporting
  • Track project progress, control costs, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
  • Analyze variances, propose corrective actions, and support client billing processes.
  • Prepare regular reports on project performance and present updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks to ensure smooth execution. Qualifications
  • Strong professional communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in environmental project management and project control.
  • Willingness to work in Kitimat, BC
  • Availability to travel to various project sites across Canada.
  • Proficiency with project management and budget tracking tools (MS Project, advanced Microsoft Office, ERP systems, Power BI)
  • Bilingual communication skills in French and English (an asset).
