West Parry Sound Health Centre (WPSHC) has always employed an innovative planning approach aimed at integrating services. Faced with the challenges of rural care delivery, WPSHC has partnered in regional alliances and created internal programming solutions that have benefited patient care and improved services throughout the catchment area.
Today our uniquely integrated health care organization includes: Lakeland Long Term Care, six Nursing Stations delivering care to rural communities, management of District ambulance services and dispatch, and a full range of in-patient and out-patient programs associated with a 90-bed acute care hospital.

About the OpportunityReporting to the Manager of Materiels Management, Environmental and Linen Services, the Storesperson will be responsible for shipping, receiving, and delivering supplies and equipment to the Health Centre departments and completing inventory requisitions and printing.
More About YouTo qualify for the role, you must have successfully completed Grade 12 or equivalent. You will also need to have:
- Minimum three (3) years of previous experience in Shipping/Receiving/Stores in a hospital environment or of equivalent nature;
- Demonstrated knowledge of a computerized Material Management system;
- Demonstrated knowledge in general medical/surgical supplies;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills;
- Organizational skills and problem-solving skills;
- Demonstrated knowledge of various computer applications and software related to healthcare programs;
- Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history, and positive work references.
In return for your dedication, you will be rewarded with an hourly salary of $26.49 per hour to start. In addition, you can look forward to the following array of benefits:
