Position summary

The Finishing Technician at Puzzle Medical Devices ensures that medical devices meet high-quality standards through tasks like assembling, polishing, cleaning, and inspecting finished products. This role is critical in delivering defect-free products ready for packaging and distribution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, with manufacturing experience, preferably in the medical device industry.

Roles and responsibilities

Assemble and Test Devices:

  • Precisely assemble components and perform tests to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Inspect products for defects and maintain accurate documentation.

Surface Finishing:

  • Perform polishing, cleaning, and deburring of medical devices to ensure smooth, defect-free surfaces.

Inspection:

  • Inspect finished products for defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from specifications.
  • Use measuring tools and visual inspection techniques to ensure quality.

Documentation:

  • Record and report any defects or issues encountered during the finishing process.
  • Maintain accurate records of finishing operations and inspections.

Requirements

  • Technical program required; an associate degree or technical certification in a related field is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in precicion manual manufacturing, preferably in medical devices, jewelery making, micro machining, watchmaking
  • Working experience with abrasives and polishing tools
  • Fine motor skills, finger dexterity for precision manual assemblies
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with hand tools and measurement instrumentation
