We are now hiring a
Lead Generator
, on behalf of our client, a leading wholesaler of safety equipment, supplying high-quality PPE, industrial safety gear, and protective solutions to businesses across various sectors (manufacturing, construction, oil & gas, etc.).

The successful candidate
will identify and qualify potential business customers who could benefit from safety equipment solutions. This position will directly feed into the sales team, enabling them to close deals and expand our client's customer base.

: Brampton, ON

Type
: Full-time, permanent.

Compensation
: TBD – based on experience.

Shift Structure:
Day shift – Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Prospecting

  • Identify potential target companies (manufacturing plants, construction firms, maintenance contractors, etc.)
  • Use databases, LinkedIn, industry directories, and other tools to build lead lists

Outbound Outreach

  • Conduct cold calls, send cold emails, and reach out via LinkedIn or other channels
  • Craft tailored messaging that resonates with decision-makers in health & safety, operations, procurement, etc.

Lead Qualification

  • Qualify leads according to defined criteria (budget, need, timeframe)
  • Score and prioritize leads to ensure high quality before handing them over to sales

Lead Nurturing

  • Engage with leads over time, sharing relevant content, answering questions, and building relationships
  • Maintain consistent follow-up, keeping prospects warm until they are ready to buy.

CRM Management & Reporting

  • Enter and maintain accurate lead data in our CRM system
  • Track outreach metrics, conversion rates, and other KPIs; produce weekly/monthly reports
  • Analyze campaign performance and recommend improvements in strategy

Collaboration

  • Work closely with our sales and marketing teams to ensure smooth handoffs and alignment on messaging and priorities
  • Provide feedback on lead quality and market trends.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years in B2B lead generation, sales development, or business development (or proven aptitude)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills — ability to engage "C-level" or decision-makers
  • Strong research skills and familiarity with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, industry databases, etc.
  • Experience using a CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and keeping lead data clean and organized
  • Analytical mindset — you can interpret outreach metrics, refine strategies, and report on performance
  • Resilient and comfortable with cold outreach and rejection
  • Self-starter who can work independently but also collaborate with the broader team
  • Experience (or willingness to learn) in the industrial safety / PPE space is a
