ALLTRACK INC is a manufacturer of high-performance tracked vehicles used in the most demanding environments across the globe. From wildland firefighting to mining and energy exploration, our machines are built to perform where wheels cannot go. We are looking for a dedicated fabricator to join our team and help build the next generation of off-road utility vehicles.

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Welder Fabricator In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating critical parts, frames, and structural components for our tracked vehicles. You will be working extensively with HSS (tubing) and steel plate, utilizing specific wire processes to ensure high-strength, aesthetic welds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Fabrication: Cut, fit, and weld components for tracked vehicle chassis, cabs, and attachments using HSS and steel plate.
  • Welding Operations: Perform high-efficiency production welding using primarily MIG (GMAW) and Metal Core (MCAW) processes for structural steel components.
  • TIG Welding: Execute precision TIG (GTAW) welding for specialized components and finer detail work as required. (considered a asset not a requirement)
  • Structural Fitting: Execute precise layout and fitting of square tubing frames and plate assemblies, ensuring squareness and dimensional accuracy for final vehicle assembly.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret manufacturing drawings to determine weld specs and assembly sequences.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: Journeyman Welder Certificate (Red Seal endorsement preferred).
  • Experience: 3-5+ years of fabrication experience, preferably in equipment manufacturing or automotive/transport chassis building.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in Metal Core and MIG welding on mild steel (must be able to set up and troubleshoot machines).
  • Competency in TIG welding. (asset)
  • Strong fitting abilities with HSS and plate.
  • A "builder" mentality—you take pride in seeing a pile of steel turn into a functional machine.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Wage: $36.00 – $42.00 per hour (Based on experience).
