The
Insurance Manager
supports the Director of Insurance in all aspects of insurance placement, coverage review, contract support, and due diligence for the Compass Group Canada program. This role is responsible for evaluating company exposure data, completing insurance carrier applications, and delivering exceptional customer service to all company operations.

Now, if you were to come on board as our
Insurance Manager
, we'd ask you to do the following for us:

  • Oversee Canadian broker services, including placement, evidence of coverage (COI's) etc.
  • Assist with the global insurance renewal process for all lines of coverage (casualty, property, and financial).
  • Support exposure data collection, policy binding, endorsement management, and audit
  • Maintain comprehensive schedules of insurance, premium payments etc.
  • Review insurance terms within contracts (supplier, vendor, client, landlord) to ensure compliance with corporate insurance programs and vendor requirements.
  • Organize and maintain accurate electronic and hard copy files of insurance policy documentation, including proposals, binders, policies, and endorsements.

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 years' experience in corporate risk management or an insurance broker setting, preferably with large, complex accounts.
  • In-depth understanding of technical and structural provisions of large deductible or SIR property, casualty, and financial insurance policies.

  • Superviser les services de courtage canadiens, y compris la souscription, les preuves de couverture (certificats d'assurance), etc.
  • Participer au processus mondial de renouvellement des assurances pour tous les types de couverture (responsabilité civile, biens et finances).
  • Soutenir la collecte de données sur les risques d'exposition, les politiques obligatoires, la gestion des approbations et les audits.
  • Tenir à jour des calendriers complets des assurances, des paiements de primes, etc.
  • Vérifier les clauses d'assurance des contrats (fournisseurs, vendeurs, clients, propriétaires) afin de garantir leur conformité avec les programmes d'assurance de l'entreprise et les exigences des fournisseurs.
  • Organiser et tenir à jour des dossiers électroniques et imprimés exacts des polices d'assurance, notamment les propositions, les contrats provisoires, les polices et les avenants.

  • Compétence pour travailler avec la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Baccalauréat ou au moins cinq (5) ans d'expérience dans la gestion des risques d'entreprise ou dans le domaine du courtage d'assurance, de préférence pour des comptes importants et complexes.
  • Compréhension approfondie des dispositions techniques et structurelles de polices d'assurance financière, de biens ou de risques divers, à franchise élevée ou à franchise autoassurée.

Maîtrise de la langue anglaise avancée pour communiquer avec la maison mère, les partenaires et les fournisseurs assignés présents à un niveau national ainsi que les commanditaires, sur une base quotidienne
