Notre client déploie un programme résidentiel d'efficacité énergétique d'envergure à travers le Québec et est à la recherche d'un(e) Spécialiste terrain résidentiel pour soutenir l'exécution sur le terrain et assurer la qualité des interventions.

Dans ce rôle concret et orienté terrain, vous agirez comme représentant(e) local(e) du programme et de l'organisation auprès des clients résidentiels, des entrepreneurs et des équipes internes. Vous serez responsable de l'installation d'équipements écoénergétiques, de la réalisation d'audits et de réaudits en efficacité énergétique, des vérifications avant et après installation, ainsi que de la collecte de données techniques dans un territoire défini.

Ce poste s'adresse à une personne technique, autonome et orientée client, qui aime le travail terrain, la résolution de problèmes et la contribution à des initiatives ayant un impact environnemental et économique concret.

Responsabilités principales

À titre de Spécialiste terrain résidentiel, vous serez appelé(e) à :


• Agir comme représentant(e) sur le terrain du programme et de l'organisation auprès des clients résidentiels


• Effectuer des inspections QA/QC et de sécurité des équipements écoénergétiques installés (p. ex. compteurs intelligents, thermostats intelligents, thermopompes, etc.)


• Réaliser des audits et réaudits en efficacité énergétique, incluant des visites de vérification avant et après installation


• Installer des équipements écoénergétiques approuvés, conformément aux normes du programme et aux exigences de sécurité


• Recueillir les constats d'inspection, mesures, photos et données techniques à l'aide des outils et systèmes en place


• Préparer, compiler et soumettre des rapports QA/QC et de la documentation technique à la direction


• Fournir des conseils techniques, de l'accompagnement et du soutien sur place concernant l'installation, la configuration ou l'amélioration des équipements


• Diagnostiquer les problèmes techniques rencontrés sur le terrain et recommander des solutions adaptées


• S'assurer que l'ensemble des travaux respecte les exigences du programme, les normes de sécurité et les spécifications du client


• Communiquer de façon professionnelle avec les propriétaires, les entrepreneurs et les parties prenantes internes

Profil recherché

Exigences et qualifications

Les candidats recherchés possèdent :


• Un diplôme d'études secondaires ou un diplôme collégial; une certification technique ou une formation de métier est un atout


• 4 ans et plus d'expérience pertinente (ex. : HVAC, électricité, systèmes du bâtiment, efficacité énergétique, inspections ou domaines connexes)


• Une expérience en inspections terrain, installations, audits ou évaluations techniques


• Une connaissance des programmes nord-américains en efficacité énergétique, particulièrement au Québec (un atout)


• Un excellent sens de l'éthique de travail, de la fiabilité et de la communication professionnelle


• Un permis de conduire valide et une disponibilité pour se déplacer à l'intérieur d'un territoire assigné au Québec

Residential Field Specialist – Energy Efficiency Program

Location: Québec (field-based; must reside in Québec)

Working model: Field-based with regional travel

Salary: $65,000–$70,000 annually

Eligibility: Valid driver's license required

About the role

Our client is launching and delivering a large-scale residential energy efficiency program across Québec and is seeking a Residential Field Specialist to support on-the-ground execution and quality assurance.

In this hands-on role, you will serve as the local, on-site representative of both the program and the organization, working directly with residential customers, contractors, and internal teams. You will be responsible for installing energy-efficient equipment, conducting energy efficiency audits and re-audits, performing pre- and post-installation verifications, and gathering technical field data within an assigned territory.

This role is ideal for a technically inclined, customer-focused professional who enjoys fieldwork, problem-solving, and contributing to programs that deliver measurable environmental and cost-saving impact.

Key responsibilities

As a Residential Field Specialist, you will:


• Act as the on-site program and company representative for residential customers across your assigned territory


• Conduct QA/QC and safety field inspections of installed energy-efficient devices (e.g., smart meters, smart thermostats, heat pumps, and related equipment)


• Perform energy efficiency audits and re-audits, including pre- and post-installation verification visits


• Install approved energy-efficient equipment in accordance with program and safety standards


• Collect inspection findings, measurements, photos, and technical data using defined tools and systems


• Prepare, consolidate, and submit QA/QC reports and technical documentation to management


• Provide technical advice, guidance, and on-site support related to installation, configuration, adaptation, or enhancement of equipment


• Troubleshoot technical issues encountered in the field and recommend practical solutions


• Ensure all work complies with program requirements, safety regulations, and client specifications


• Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and internal stakeholders

Qualifications & experience

• Experience conducting field inspections, installations, audits, or technical assessments


• Knowledge of North American energy efficiency programs, with familiarity in Québec considered an asset


• Strong work ethic, reliability, and professional communication skills


• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within an assigned Québec territory
