Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Brandon, MB, that allows for a combination of on-site work and remote tasks. As a PLC Programmer, you will design, develop, and implement programmable logic controller (PLC) systems to meet client specifications. Daily tasks include programming, troubleshooting, testing, and maintaining PLCs, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to support project installations and commissioning. You will also analyze system requirements, create technical documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Strong understanding of control systems, automation processes, and system integrations
  • Experience with system installations, testing, and commissioning
  • Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and documentation
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Proven capability to work both independently and in a hybrid work environment
  • Familiarity with electrical systems, control panels, and municipal treatment systems is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field is preferred
