Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires keen observation skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Duties

  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
  • Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to ensure comprehensive coverage of premises.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, coordinating with law enforcement when necessary.
  • Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks or hazards.
  • Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries professionally.
  • Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, observations, and activities for management review.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in law enforcement or security roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies is a plus.
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused during shifts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with others.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
