Veterinary Receptionist/Customer Care Specialist

We are looking for a Veterinary Receptionist/Customer Care Specialist. Duties would include answering the phone, booking appointments, billing clients, taking orders for medications and prescription diets, communicating client concerns about their pets to the other team members and cleaning. May include helping the doctors and other staff with nail trims, assisting the veterinarians/ technicians, getting medication ready, and animal handling.

Applicants must have good communication skills, they must be comfortable working around animals, they must have basic computer knowledge/skills and they need to be able to work as part of a team. Having completed a medical business administration program or experience as a veterinary reception would be an asset to the applicant.

Wage is dependent on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Veterinary Receptionist: 1 year (required)
