Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a
Lead Full Stack Software Developer
to join a leading aerospace technology company. In this role, you will
architect and build enterprise-grade client-facing software
, driving design, development, integration, and testing while ensuring performance and maintainability.

You'll lead planning and design efforts, champion best practices, and propose innovative concepts and architectures to advance solutions. Collaboration is central to the role, as you'll work with cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and specifications. Additionally, you'll
mentor and inspire developers
, fostering skill growth and guiding methodologies, while spearheading initiatives to evolve the software development lifecycle, tools, and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design, development, and integration of full stack web applications.
  • Architect scalable solutions using
    microservices
    and modern frameworks.
  • Drive CI/CD pipeline implementation and automated testing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliverables.
  • Mentor developers and promote best practices in software engineering.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Degree or diploma in
    Computer Science, Engineering
    , or related field.
  • 10+ years
    of experience in full stack web application development, with
    3+ years in a leadership role
    .
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Microservices architecture
  • CI/CD pipelines
    , Git, and automated testing
  • Skilled in both
    front-end frameworks
    and
    back-end technologies
    .
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Kafka
    , Redis, RabbitMQ or MQTT
  • SQL and NoSQL databases
  • AWS cloud services
  • Proficient with
    Git/GitLab
    for version control.

Compensation:

$100K - $130K per year + full benefits packages

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and AD&D. Employees will also have access to a registered retirement savings account with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
