Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Technician to join our team. The Accounting Technician will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, including account analysis, reconciliation, and payroll processing. The ideal candidate should have strong mathematical skills and be proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online and Sage. Responsibilities: - Perform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data - Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements - Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate payment to employees - Maintain accurate records of financial transactions - Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities - Collaborate with other departments to resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues - Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred - Proven experience as an Accounting Technician or similar role - Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail Knowledge of financial services and payroll processing - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
