POSITION SUMMARY

Join a challenging and exciting opportunity within a large and growing manufacturing group Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, you will play a key role in optimizing production costs and conducting strategic financial analyses for two plants located in Canada. You will lead a dedicated team involved in major projects, while working within a solid, collaborative, and performance-oriented financial structure.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE :

  • Actively participate in the entire monthly closing process and cost accounting, implementing and rigorously monitoring control mechanisms.
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools and margin analyses to support decision-making.
  • Analyze inventories and discrepancies, and participate in physical and financial audits.
  • Collaborate in the development and monitoring of plant operating budgets.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide clear and accessible financial support to plant managers.
  • Supervise and develop a team of finance and accounting professionals.
  • Participate in projects to improve financial and operational processes.
  • Contribute to the optimization of information systems, including ERP (D365) and production systems.

THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION ARE:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field*.
  • Between 5 and 10 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a large manufacturing environment.*
  • Experience in team management and ability to supervise and develop staff.
  • Excellent command of French and advanced English, both spoken and written, to communicate with teams and adapt content for a bilingual audience.
  • The CPA (CMA profile) designation is a major asset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Microsoft D365 is considered an asset.

  • Different combinations of relevant experience and education may be considered.
