Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, professional Front Desk Agent to serve as the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, managing guest inquiries, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining operational efficiency at our hospitality establishment. Multilingual and bilingual skills are highly valued to assist a diverse guest population. Previous hotel experience is preferred but not required; a strong background in hospitality and excellent phone etiquette are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns with tact and efficiency to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and billing information
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are prepared
  • Assist guests with local information, amenities, and special requests to enhance their stay
  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures while demonstrating professionalism at all times

Experience

  • Previous experience in front desk operations or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele
  • Familiarity with front desk software systems and multi-line phone systems is advantageous
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, guest services, and hospitality best practices is a plus
  • Excellent phone etiquette, professionalism, and a welcoming demeanor are essential for this role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
