Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a CNC / CAD Operator at FoxCanada, located in Medicine Hat, AB. The CNC / CAD Operator will work with advanced design software and CNC machinery to create precise components and custom signage. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings, programming CNC machines, performing production tasks, ensuring quality control, and maintaining machinery. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, adherence to safety standards, and efficient handling of materials are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in CAD design, computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), and operating CNC machinery
  • Strong technical knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings
  • Familiarity with quality control processes and safety standards in manufacturing
  • Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and mechanical aptitude
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with design and production teams
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or a related field is highly beneficial
  • Post-secondary education in manufacturing, drafting, or a related technical field is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
