An machine manufacturing company is looking for a Field Service Engineer with previous experience dealing with CNC Machines to join the team. This company works mainly in the automation system field. The ideal candidate is familiar with troubleshooting mechanical parts of industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and install newly acquired equipment at our facility or customers' sites as scheduled
  • Upgrade and repair machinery in an efficient and timely manner to ensure it is functioning optimally
  • Comply with and maintain up to date knowledge of safe work practices, requirements and guidelines
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge in the Company's line of machinery by attending scheduled training sessions or proactively self-sourcing information, sharing knowledge with the Service Team
  • Order and return parts on a timely basis as necessary, to minimize downtime and redundant inventory
  • Complete work orders and accurate time and expense reports in a timely and efficient manner to facilitate invoicing and service administration
  • Resolve service issues by liaising with manufacturers as required, escalating unresolved service issues to the Service Coordinator in sufficient detail for timely resolution
  • Other duties assigned by the managers

Requirements

  • Knowledge of CNC Machines, with a minimum of 3 years trouble shooting CNC machines
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and associated engineering documentation
  • Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments
  • Customer service oriented
  • Good customer service skills including fluency of English
  • Abilities to travel up to 80%
